April 3, 2018
SICAB is an advanced training program for 800 Chinese government officials: it deals with environmental issues and sustainable development, to which China is paying close attention. The Italian Ministry for the Environment and Protection of the Territory and the Sea promotes the project that is part of the Italy-China Environmental Protection program (SICB) launched in 2000. Politecnico di Milano will coordinate SICAB for the period 2018-2019, involving La Sapienza University of Rome, the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) and the Italy-China Foundation.
The goal of the program is not only to strengthen China’s planning skills on environmental issues, but also to promote Italian technology and to bridge the gap between Italian companies and Chinese decision-makers. In fact, China is investing significant assets in renewable energy and improving efficiency: this is why it represents a great opportunity for Italian companies exporting solutions and technologies such as Cannon Bono Energia.
In this context, Cannon Bono Energia has been invited to present its most efficient boiler: HE Smart, which allows great fuel and emission savings, and other tailor-made solutions for power and heat generation plants, complex plants and district heating in which Cannon Bono Energia has gained significant experience over the last 60 years. The audience consisted of general managers belonging to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and it showed great interest in the advanced control system and efficient operations of the top range boiler.
Actually, Cannon Bono Energia’s machines have already been on the Chinese market since 1994: the best-selling models are the instantaneous coil and diathermic oil boilers. Recent customers include: Amperex Technology Limited and Hubei Jinquan New Materia, leading manufacturers of lithium batteries, and Zr Chem China, a manufacturer of zirconium-based materials.
