Cannon Bono Energia, a company of the Cannon Group, will supply a Clajtub (CTH series) 140- megawatt (MWt) water tube boiler to Mostostal Warszawa who is constructing a turnkey district heating (DH) facility for a power plant investor located in Katowice, Poland.
Heat generation
Cannon Bono Energia has over 60 years’ experience in the design, manufacturing, installation, servicing, and maintenance of generators for use in industrial, petrochemical and power generation applications.
The investor is one of the largest companies in Poland offering heat generation, distribution, and supplies 250,000 households, or about 800,000 residents, and is the principal provider of municipal district heating in the Silesian-Dąbrowa agglomeration.
Innovative water tube boiler
“We are developing our portfolio of orders in energy construction and have experience in the implementation of contracts in this area, including for companies belonging to the investor’s group,” said Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice-President of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa.
District heating with combined heat and power is a more cost effective and efficient method for pollution control than localized boilers, and therefore helps to lower carbon emissions. Cannon Bono Energia’s innovative water tube boiler provide thermal and combustion efficiency of 95-96 percent achieved using a high-performing burner system with advanced combustion and emission control and monitoring system.
